Ingredients:
- 500g pork belly, thinly sliced
- 3 tablespoons gochujang (Korean red pepper paste)
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons rice wine (mirin)
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
- Green onions, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
- Prepare the Marinade: In a bowl, mix together gochujang, soy sauce, rice wine (mirin), honey, sesame oil, minced garlic, minced ginger, and sesame seeds until well combined.
- Marinate the Pork Belly: Place the thinly sliced pork belly in a shallow dish or a resealable plastic bag. Pour the marinade over the pork belly, making sure it's evenly coated. Cover the dish or seal the bag and let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour, or preferably overnight for the best flavor.
- Grilling: Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Once hot, grill the marinated pork belly slices for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until cooked through and slightly charred.
- Serve: Transfer the grilled pork belly to a serving platter and garnish with chopped green onions. Serve hot with steamed rice and your favorite side dishes.
Enjoy the deliciously spicy and savory flavor of gochujang samgyeopsal! It's a fantastic dish for a Korean barbecue gathering or a flavorful meal at home. Adjust the spiciness and sweetness of the marinade according to your taste preferences.
